Wounded Prisoner
Mr. and Mrs. J. Goddard, of 79, Tickhill Street, Denaby Main, have been informed that Bdr. W. Knight, of the R.A. who had resided with them before being called up at the outbreak of war is a prisoner of war in Italian hands.
He is wounded in both legs and one arm, but is making satisfactory progress. He has seen 18 months service in the Middle East.
Bdr. Knight is 22 and was employed at Cadeby Colliery in the Parkgate seam. He celebrated his coming of age in the desert.
