Missing.
Mrs. N. Marshall, 17, Conan Road, Conisbrough, has been officially Informed that her husband. Trooper William Marshall, is posted as missing since October 28th last.
Joining the Yorkshire Dragoons about two years before the outbreak of war, Trooper Marshall was called to the Colours in September, 1999, and he has been in the Middle East since January, 1940, where he has seen service in Palestine, Syria and latterly in Egypt.
Prior to the war Trooper Marshall was on the staff of the Amalgamated Denaby Collieries, Ltd., and he will be well remembered by many Mexborough friends for his association with the former Y.M.C.A. tennis club.
