Driver John Nichol (37), R.A.S.C., whose wife lives at 13, Ivanhoe Road, Conisbrough, on Sunday celebrates his 37th birthday whilst serving abroad in Italy.
He left this country for the Mediterranean nearly a year ago. Dvr. Nichol is son of Mr. Mrs. J. Nichol, 15, Denaby Avenue, Conisbrough.
He joined the Army four years ago, and formerly worked at Cadeby Colliery. He has two children.
