Wounded In Far East.
Mr. and Mrs. F. Oldfield, of Conan Road, Conisbrough, have been informed that their son. L/Cpl. Frank Oldfield, was wounded on active service in the Far East on March 7.
It is believed that he was in action in Burma when he received his injuries.
He was assistant secretary of the Doncaster branch of the Ancient Order of Foresters, and is a keen cyclist.
