News at Last.
Mrs. Pashley, of 60, Ravensfield Street, Denaby Main, who had not received any news from her youngest son, Gnr. Tom Pashley, for about five months, has now received a letter from him in which he says that he is in Cairo and doing all right again after having had some shrapnel removed from his thigh, a knock he got in the thick of the fighting.
He is very cheerful. He has received his letters, parcels, and the “South Yorkshire Times,” for which he is very thankful.
Gnr. Pashley joined up about two year ago and he was drafted to the Middle East last June.
