Casualty
Mrs. Peters, of 91, Cliff View, Denaby Main, has received the news that her husband, Gunner Wilfred Peters, of the R.A., has been wounded and is in hospital in North Africa.
Gunner Peters has seen about 16 years’ service and served all through the campaign in France and Belgium and was evacuated at Dunkirk.
He was before enlistment an underground mechanic at Cadeby Colliery.
