Lieutenant Clifford J. Pickett
Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve
Lieutenant Pickett of Park Villa, Park road, Conisborough, has been awarded the Military Cross for, gallantry in action at Cambrai.
He took part.in many heavy engagements on the Western Front, and also went through the Gallipoli campaign.
In France he was wounded severely, and after being four times recommended for official notice, was given a commission last April.
He is now stationed near Mons.
