Pte. William Preston is the son of the late Mr. Preston, and of Mrs. Preston, of 53, Blythe Street, Denaby Main. His wife resides at Daylands Avenue, Conisbrough. He was, previous to enlistment, employed at Braim and Coopers, Conisbrough, and joined the Forces in January, 1942. He is in the Manchester Regiment, and is at present at a home station.
