Missing.

Mr. and Mrs. Rowe, School House, Station. Road, Conisbrough, have received news that their eldest son, Gnr. Ernest Rowe, R.A., has been posted missing since June 20th.

Since he joined the Forces about  2 ½ years ago, Ernest has had more than his share of adventures. He served in Greece, Crete, and was in the first siege of Tobruk. He has been wounded once, and was in hospital for nearly five months.

Prior to joining the Forces he was employed at the Cadeby Colliery as a shaftman.

Mr. and Mrs. Rowe have another son, Eric, who is serving with the R.A.F.
