A former hairdresser who has been in the A.T.S. for two years is Lance Corporal Sylvia Spencer, daughter of Mr & Mrs Spencer, 67 Daylands Avenue Conisbrough.
She is with the Royal Cops of Signals and finds her work interesting.
On Monday she celebrates hor 21st birthday.
Her father is an official of Denaby Main Colliery.
