Wounded Four Times

Bombardier Ben Stephenson, who is serving with the A.A. in the Middle East, is one of the three serving sons of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stephenson, of 4, Marr Street, Denaby Main.

He joined the Territorials in 1935, and the following year be transferred to the Royal Artillery. He figured in the evacuation from Dunkirk and has seen service in Syria, Iraq and Libya and has been wounded four times. Before joining the Territorials he served in the Merchant Navy.

In a letter to his parents he says he is keeping well and sends his best respects to all his old pals.
