Missing Sapper
Miss D. Thompson, 26, Tickhill Street, Denaby Main, has been informed that her father, Sapper R. Thompson, is posted as missing from the capitulation of Singapore in February last.
Sapper Thompson h a d been in the Royal Engineers for about five years and had served three years in Singapore.
He was previously employed at Denaby Colliery. His daughter, Miss D. Thompson, resides with Mrs. Jones, of 26, Tickhill Street, Denaby
