Mr. and Mrs. T. Wilson, of Elm Green Lane, Conisbrough, have received the news that their only son, Arthur, has been commissioned with the rank of Pilot Officer, and is now on operations with Coastal Command.
Prior to enlistment, Pilot Officer Wilson was French and geography master at Willesden Grammar School.
He is an old boy of Mexborough Secondary School and obtained his degree at London University.
