Soldier – Wood C. – Killed in North West Europe

Mr. and Mrs. H. Wood, of 78, Warmsworth Street, Denaby Main, received news last week-end that their only son, Spr. Clifford H. Wood (25), is posted missing, presumed killed, on Nov. 22nd.

Spr. Wood joined the Forces about four years ago, and before that was a bricklayer.

He was attached to a bomb disposal squad of the Royal Engineers, and the message states he was serving in North-West Europe.
