Corporal Luther Wren M.M.
Corporal Wren, of 37, Adweek Street, Denaby Main, arrived home on Monday.
He was taken prisoner during the enemy offensive of March 21 this year. He has been six months working behind the firing line and two months of the place called Giessen.
The food was very bad on several occasions they were given dry bread and cabbage water.
Corporal Wren has seen 3 ½ years’ service in France. He is now over on two month’s leave.
