‘Terriers” Both
Lance-Corpl. Herbert Danford and Pte. William Henry Danford, sons of Mr. William Danford. of 12, Leslie Avenue. Conisborough, who served throughout the last war in the K.0.Y.L.I. and is employed at Cadeby Colliery, were both Territorials before the war and were called to the colours on the outbreak of hostilities.
Both saw service in Norway and Herbert is now stationed in Iceland.
Both lads are married and were employed at Cadeby Colliery before the war.
