Spent Leave Together

Two soldiers well known in Denaby Main are Cpl. Leslie Harrop and L/Cpl. Stanley Harrop, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Reg. Harrop who for many years resided at 72, Ravenfield Street, Denaby Main and during that period the sons were employed at Cadeby Colliery and were attached to the Parish Church and the Church Lads’ Brigade.

They had not seen each other for 3 ½ years until recently when they met in Alexandria and later, they were able to spend a leave together.

They are quite well at the time of writing and send their good wishes to all friends this way. Their home is now in Headington.
