Soldiers Wedding.
Conisborough Councillor’s son Married in Stafford.
A choral wedding of considerable local interest was celebrated in the Baptist Chapel, Stafford, on Friday.
Sapper E. Bashforth, R. E second son of Councillor and Mrs. Bashforth of Conisborough, was married to Miss Beatrice Eley youngest daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Eyel of Stafford.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. L. Beecham, of Dudley, the choir sang “the voice that breathed over Eden” and the “wedding March” was played by Mr. J. N. Hague.
The bride was attended by two bridesmaids and her brother acted as best man. The bride groom returned on Monday to Puttenham, Surrey, where he is training.
