Both Winners
Two brothers serving with the Forces are Pte. Herbert Winner (26). Royal Fusiliers, and Pte. Leslie Winner (20), R.A.O.C.
They are sons of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. Winner, of 21, Edlington Street, Denaby. Herbert has been in the Forces for nearly two years and Leslie has had just over a year’s service.
They are old pupils of Balby Street School.
