St Albans Annual May Procession

At Denaby about 1,000 Catholics from Denaby, Conisborough and Mexborough took part in the annual May procession in honour of Our Lady, at Denaby last night.

The streets were lined with hundreds of people. Included in the procession was the May Queen (Joan Osborne) and other Queens with retinue.

Returning to St. Alban’s Church the statue of Our Lady was crowned by the May Queen.
