St Alban’s Church Outing to Askern

On Thursday week the members of St Alban´s church had an enjoyable day at Askern.

There would be upwards of 100 people who took part in the excursion.

A substantial tea was provided for the excursionists, and after full justice had been done to the good things provided, the remaining part of the day was spent in boating on the lake, cricketing, etc

The reverent F Kavanagh and the reverent F. Curran were also among the party.

The return journey was commence shortly after seven o’clock, and Denaby, was reached about 10 p.m.
