Denaby parish church F.C., 1925-26 THE above picture of the Denaby Parish church Football Club, winners of the St. George’s Cup 1925-26 has been lent to us by Mr. A. Jones, of 85, Tickhill Denaby. Standing at the back are Messrs C. Simpkins Milner, W. Holland, Les Davies, C. Senior, N. Hammond and Matthews. Sitting: Messrs T. Wakefield, G. Cousins, N. Wilkinson, A. Holland and E. Pearson. It is interesting to note that Mr. A. Holland is now the People’s Warden at the Parish Church, Mr. C. P. Milner is the choirmaster and Mr. N. Wilkinson is still a member of the choir.
