Stack Fire.

A straw stack, the property of Mr. W. Curtiss, farmer, Crookhill Road, Conisborough, has been destroyed by fire.

The Conisborough Fire Brigade was quickly on the scene with hose pipes and prevented the flames spreading to two more stacks, which were only yards away; also some poultry runs.

A horse dray was also burnt. The loss is covered insurance.
