Mr. And Mrs. N. Lax, of the Star Hotel, Conisbrough, who are leaving shortly, are seen receiving a clock from Mrs. R. N. Ross, on behalf of customers and Savings club members, and a kettle presented by Mrs. G. Gibbons on behalf of the stair at the hotel. Looking on are Mr. G. E. Goddard, Mr. R. Goddard, Mr. F. Bool and Mr. L. Wormley. The presentations took place at the hotel on Tuesday evening.
