Stealing Coal from Colliery Sidings.

At the Doncaster West Riding Court, yesterday, David and Samuel Churms and Cyril Lunn, pit hands. Conisborough, were charged with stealing coal from the Colliery sidings.

David Churms and Lunn had been previously convicted, and they were sent to prison for 14 days.

Samuel Churms was bound over a first offender.

Coal Stealing At Cadeby.

David and Samuel Chum and Cyril Lunn, pit hands, of Conisbro’, were summoned Doncaster, to-day, for stealing coal from the Cadeby Colliery sidings.

A night watchman found two of the lads on top of & waggon, throwing coal to the other boy, who was filling two Army kit bags.

They had 98lbs. of coal the bags.

David Churn and Lunn, who had previous conviction against them, were sent to prison for days. Samuel Churn was bound over.
