Stealing Coal.
Offences During the Strike

The Denaby and Cadeby Colliery Co. summoned several persons for coal stealing.

Wm. Pemberton, Geo. Godber, Richard Wheeliker, and Thomas Wheeliker were charged in respect to an offence on April 16th at Cadeby.

Mr. F. Allen prosecuted, and said the defendants picked coal, weighing seven stones and three pounds.

Pemberton was fined 7s. 6d., and the rest were bound over.

For a similar offence, Horace Sanderson (13), Joseph Sanderson (14), and Thos. Donnatt (15), pony drivers, of Conisboro’, were each bound over for three months in the sum of 40s.
