Stripped to the Waist
Peter Calvin and Edward Burke, colliers of Denaby were summoned for a breach of the peace at Denaby on the previous Saturday.
They were found in Cliff View at 11.55 by P.s. Ramsey and P.c. Glithro, stripped to the waist. One man was on the floor and the other was about to kick him.
They were each bound over to keep the peace for the space of six months, in the sum of 40s.
