Struck in Face with Thick Cloth

Thomas Glynn, was charged by Anne Smith, both of Conisbrough, with an assault.

This defendant went into the complainants house, the Railway Hotel, Conisbrough and because she refused to serve him witha second pint of beer, he struck her in the face with a thick cloth he had in his hand.

Defendant was fined 36 s 6 d (£1.82)
