Sunday School Trip
One thousand children of Conisboro’ and Denaby, accompanied by about 900 adults, went to Cleethorpes on Saturday, on the occasion of the annual Sunday schools trip.
All the Conisboro’ schools and the Denaby Parish Church and Denaby Doncaster Road Methodists were represented. Three trains were utilised.
The children had a glorious day. Amongst the Parish Church party of 398 children there were 295 “sponsored.” Mr. Harold Brocklesby, of the Chapel Lane School, was organiser in chief.
