Surveyor’s Success
Mr Horace F. Corbett, 12. Denaby Avenue, Conanby , who celebrated his 29th birthday today, has received notification that he has been successful in qualifying in the recent examination for mines surveyor.
Mr Carter, who took the written part of the examination at Doncaster and the oral part at Wakefield, is employed at Cadeby Main colliery as underground surveyor, which post he has held since he was 21.
He has been in the employ of Messrs. Amalgamated Denaby Collieries Ltd., since he left school.
