Tanks for Attack.

Conisbrough’s effort seems to gather momentum as the campaign progresses.

In the eighth week the savings amounted to £1717, which is higher than the required weekly figure, and also higher than the average weekly sales during the whole eight weeks. With two more weeks to go, only £1581 is required to pass the target figure of £15,000.

These figures should not be taken as an indication that efforts can be relaxed. On the contrary. Mr. E. Dabbs, secretary, is anxious that every effort should be made to pass the target by as wide a margin as possible.

Mr. Dabbs also informs us that the executive committee at their meeting last week decided to recommend to the general committee that the two tanks should be labelled Denaby in one case and Conisbrough in the other.
