Tarbuck on a Life Size Photograph

That lively Liverpudlian laddie, Jimmy Tarbuck is making an appearance in Conisbrough – but the chirpy chappie will be miles away at the time.

It is all part of an advertising campaign by the Total petrol company; a campaign which begins today “Thursday” at the Doncaster Road, Conisbrough, filling station of Mr C.H. Rotherham.

Tarbuck’s appearance will be on life-size 6’ x 4’ photographs which will emblazon the Conisbrough station.

The campaign slogans have a familiar ring – “Tickle up with Total” will be the appeal, backed by giveaway feather squeaker’s and keyrings.
