The Conisborough Show
The programme of the show and sports in connection with the Conisborough Cricket Club lies before us.
It makes interesting reading, we may say.
Although the secretaryship has changed hands, Mr W A Lugar and Mr R J Clarkson now conducting operations, the 10th annual is to be conducted on the line of its predecessors.
We do not see how it could well be otherwise. Of course the show is the more attractive section and everyone will expect to see something exceptionally good among the cattle.
But nevertheless there are some excellent entries for the sports, and in the open foot racing events some good men from Mexborough, Sheffield and Doncaster will take part.
Again the prize will be of considerable value, and a thoroughly successful day is confidently anticipated.
