The Discovery of Iron Ore at Conisbro’.

A correspondent states that it is understood from a most reliable source that the scheme for raising iron ore from the district around Conisbro’ is being actively gone on with, as the mineral is of sufficient quantity and quality to repay the trustees of Lord Conyers for the needful outlay.

It is added that advances have been made for the laying down of a line of rails through the district, and that the “opening of a gigantic enterprise ” may be anticipated.
