The Guardian of the Poor for Conisbro’

Mr. F. Ogley, seeing that there are several places with half the number of inhabitants that Conisbro can boast who send two guardians suggested at a recent meeting, that it was only just and reasonable that they should have represented by two guardians .

The chairman of the meeting and all present entirely agreed on the point and it was arranged that the vicar would write to the Doncaster board of guardians with reference to the matter.

It was stated that Tickhill which numbers much less in population then Conisborough, send two guardians.
