The Removal of Pigs.

At the West Riding Police Court, on Saturday, Jas. Monks, miner Conisbro’, was summoned for not giving up a declaration form on the 2nd inst. The defendant said he was not to blame; another person had promised to hand over the form to the police.

Supt. Blake said he believed there had been a mistake.

The Chairman, reminded the defendant that he was responsible, he being the person who should give up the form to the police.

Under the circumstances, the defendant was ordered to pay 5s. towards the costs, which amounted to 15s. 6d.
