The Small-Pox Epidemic at Denaby and Mexbro’.
Eleven cases of smail-pox have occurred altogether, and nine are at present under treatment, two having become convalescent.
A fresh case was removed to the temporary hospital at Denaby on Wednesday night, and another patient was reported to be suffering from small-pox yesterday.
A nurse has been engaged from Gainsbro’ to attend to the sufferers in the infections diseases hospital at Mexbro’.
Last night the surveyor to the Mexbro’ Local Board was informed that another case had arisen at Mexbro’. Prompt steps are being taken in the hope of preventing the further spread of the disease.
