The Unruly Member At Conisboro’ An Mexboro’.

Frank Sampson, labourer, and Wm. Lancaster navvy, both of Conisboro’, were, on the information of P.c. Walton, summoned for having used abusive language in West Street, Conisboro’, at 11-30 p.m. on the 18th August.

The defendant Lancaster stated that he was not away from home between 9-20 p.m. on Saturday, and the Sunday morning. He stated his name as Wm. Godfrey.

He was fined 2/6 and costs, and Sampson 5/- and costs.

A fine of 5/- and costs was also imposed on Wm. Wilson, boathauler, Mexboro’, for having made use of bad language on the evening of Sunday, the 19th August.
