The Usual Judgement Summonses From Denaby and Cadeby.

Five more men formerly miners employed at the Denaby and Cadeby Collieries were summoned under a judgement summons obtained by the Colliery Company in 1902, for payment of £6 7s. 6d. damages, etc., incurred by them by reason of the defendants leaving work without notice. Mr. W. M. Gachard prosecuted.

Orders for the payment of 3/- per week were made in each case. – The names of the defendants together with their average earnings for the past six weeks are appeared, – Enoch Hanson, Darfie’d. £1 9s.; Halliday, Cusworth, £1 13s.; John O’Brien, Grimethorpe £1 12s 5d, Henry Wright, Royston, £1 10s 1d and Harrison Booth, Middlestown
