Theft of a Watch and Chain at Conisborough.

John Thomas Hancock, glass band, was charged with stealing a watch and chain at Conisbrough, the property of John Hobson, of Conisborough and William Henry McGlone, glass hand, Conisborough, was charged with receiving same knowing them to have been stolen.

The youths lodged with prosecutor, took the watch and chain to Doncaster, where McGlone got a woman named White to pawn the watch for 6s.

Both defendants pleaded guilty.

Hancock was fined 20s including costs, and McGlone was sent to prison for 14 days.
