Theft of Bottles of Beer at Conisborough

For youths, named respectively Frank Singleton, Alfred Harrop, Fred Nicholson, and William Henry McGlone, glass hand, were charged with stealing 32 bottle of stout beer, the property of Mr T. R. Booth, timber merchant, Conisbrough, on the 28th ult.

The prosecutor said that he missed 32 bottles of stout and beer from a washhouse behind his premises. He gave information to the police, and police constable Truman watched the premises on Thursday and Friday and saw the defendants going to the place.

The defendants were each fined 20s including costs.
