Theft of Potatoes

At Doncaster West Riding Court, to-day, Harry Owen, miner, Doncaster Road. Denaby, was remanded on a charge of stealing six stones of potatoes from a potato “pie” at Old Denaby, belonging Walter John Robinson, farmer.

Theft of Potatoes.

Harry Owen, a miner, of Denaby, was before the Doncaster West Riding Magistrates, Saturday, on a charge of having stolen six stones seed potatoes, valued at 30s., the property of Mr. J. W. Robinson, farmer, of Old Denaby.

The potatoes were taken from a pie in a field prosecutor’s farm.

Accused was committed for one month.
