Throwing Lighted Fireworks.
Silly Denaby Lad.
The foolish action of throwing a lighted fiThisrework into a backyard in Thrybergh Terrace, Denaby led to the appearance at the Doncaster Court on Tuesday of Harold Whitehead, a pony driver, who was fined 10s. for the offence.
P.c. Howarth said that at 7-20 p.m. on Oct. 4th he was on duty for the purpose of watching persons who discharged fireworks in the street, when he saw a group of lads set off several fireworks. He also saw defendant throw a lighted cracker into a backyard, and immediately afterwards the lads ran way.
Witness gave chase and caught defendant who when searched, had no other fireworks in his possession.
