At the Mart, Tokenhouse Yard, London. E. C, on Wednesday, Mr. Douglas Young, auctioneer, sold by Public auction eleven Iots of tithes arising from land in the parish of Conisborough and the village of Clifton, near Doncaster.

The first lot was the charge on the lands of the Earl and Countess of Yarborough, the gross amount of which last year was £45, and the actual amount received £31. 10s. There were no arrears in this or in any of the lots The lot was sold at £550.

A charge of £6 3s. 10d. on the lands belonging to 14 different owners, realised £110, the normal yield being £8 17s 3d.

Lot 3 was the tithe payable from the lands at the late Mr Andrew Montagu, and yielding £28 8.1d, net last year ; sold at £450.

Fifteen owners (among them the Vicar of Conisborough) figured in the next lot, the net revenue from which last year was £20 14s 3d, and it went at £300.

The yield last year for the next lot was £11 9s 1d and it realised £200.

Eighty pounds was paid for the next small lot, the income of which last year was £4 18a., and there were three owners.

Lot 7, the owner of which was Mr. W. H. Battie Wrightson, of Cusworth Hall Doncaster, the produce of which Iast year was £6, sold, at £90.

Nineteen pounds seventeen shillings was the net revenue from the next parcel, being arable land owned by the Earl and Countess of Yarborough, and £360 was the purchasing bid.

The tithe on lands at Clifton (owned by Mr. C. J. Broomhead). which yielded £4 6s. last year, was sold at £80.

Fourty-five pounds was the price paid for a tithe of £2 14s on land owned by the late Mr. Walter Milward (Clifton).

The last lot was the tithe on several parcels of land in the village of Clifton owned by five persons and yielding £8 1.4 1d,sold at £130.
