More Girls.
Efforts are being made to attract more girls into membership of Denaby Tom hill Youth Centre. Already average nightly attendances among girls at the centre in Wadworth Street are showing an improvement, and there is a plan to run a series if evening meetings especially for girls.
The meetings, taking the form of talks and discussion on a wide variety of topics – beauty culture and journalism are included – will probably be held on Friday evenings during the winter months.
It is hoped to hold the first one on September 17th.
