Too Fond Of Work.

On Saturday, at Doncaster West Riding Police Court, Mr. F. Allen appeared on behalf the Denaby and Cadeby Main Colliery Co., Ltd., to prosecute William Pritchett, Simeon Tuft, and Anthony Garvey, pit hands, of Denaby, for wilful damage to a footpath at July 31st.

Mr. Allen said that the defendants appeared to be so fond of work that when not engaged in their regular occupation they practised building packs and spragging them on the footpath, doing damage to the extent of 5s., which the colliery company had to make good.

Pritchett and Tuft were each ordered pay 10s. and costs, and their share of the damage, and Garvey 5s. and costs, and his share of the damage.
