Traveller Remanded

There was a sequence to the theft of a motor car from a Denaby garage in July at the Doncaster West Riding Police Court on Friday, when Charles Leslie Sampson (34), Traveller, of no fixed abode, was charged with breaking into a garage and stealing a motorcar value at £120, the property of James Walton, Edlington Street, Denaby.

The theft took place in July, though it had been reported to the police it was not until last Thursday that defendant had been traced.

He was arrested at Bradford.

He was remanded in custody for a week.
