Trip To China For Denaby Teacher

A Teacher at Denaby Roman Catholic school Mrs. Sheila Whitney and her husband Captain Raymond Whitney of 20 Tickhill Square, Denaby, and baby son are leaving next month for a two years’ stay in China.

Mrs Whitney (24), formerly Miss Sheila Prince, youngest daughter of Mr Walter Prince, of 20, Tickhill Square, and the late Mrs Prince, was formerly a teacher in a Doncaster school for two years and in Northampton where she met her husband an Army Captain in the Northamptonshire Regiment.

Captain Whitney is being posted to Hong-Kong for a two years’ course at the University to study the Chinese language.

The couple are sailing on the ” Oxfordshire ” in August with their 13-months-old son, Simon.
