Two Injured by Fall of Roof.

A fall of roof in the Barnsley seam of the Cadeby Colliery yesterday afternoon caught two miners, Frank Cousins (54), of 82, Balby Street, Denaby, and William Stocks (55), of 97, Firbeck Street, Denaby.

They were quickly extricated and removed to the Fullerton Hospital, where Stocks was found to have received fractured ribs, and Cousins broken leg and head injuries.

Both suffered from shock, but their condition, following treatment, is not believed to be serious.
