Unlawful Dog Franchise
John Bloomer, gentleman, Conisbrough, was charged with allowing his dog at large without a muzzle at that place, on six of February
PC Roughton proved the case, saying he saw the dog at large with only an inefficient strap as a safeguard.
The Chairman: Was it able to bite?
Witness: Yes, sir
Fined 20 shillings, including costs.
Joe Bell, Labour, Conisbrough, also neglected to muzzle his dog at Conisbrough on the 10th.
PC Roughton stated the case.
Defendant pleaded its breaking out, the bench imposed a penalty of 20 shillings including costs
